I photograph the animals that live alongside us: in hedgerows and river margins, deer parks and the field at the end of the lane. Most mornings start in the dark, and plenty end without a photograph worth keeping.

I'm Nick, a freelance wildlife photographer working across the English countryside. I work from hedgerows, hides and riverbanks, far enough back that the animals carry on as if I wasn't there.
Alongside my own work I take on commissions for magazines, conservation groups and landowners, and I sell a small range of fine-art prints.
